Meritocracy
Public schools should operate on a merit-based system that holds all students to the same high academic standards, regardless of race or background. Policies that lower expectations or apply different standards in the name of equity ultimately harm students by denying them the opportunity to meet their full potential. Academic advancement, recognition, and access to advanced coursework should be earned through demonstrated performance, not racial classifications or ideological frameworks. A true meritocracy in education promotes fairness, excellence, and equal opportunity by treating every student as an individual.
